So at work, we get a bunch of antiques coming through, and I picked up this hand-made apron and dress set there. I want to turn it into my halloween coord; 'Mother Hen', that can be dressed down for daily wear (I.E Hang up that apron and bounce around in the OP only). Hey Sew-Loli! It's been a while, but I return, bearing news and another picture-heavy post! Most of this was done during a break I took from the dress itself. Considering this project has made me want to drop-kick my sewing machine into the ocean a couple times, I figured I should take a break from it and focus on the other aspects of the coord. So I went prowling around the Goodwill this afternoon, looking for relatively warm fabric for my next project (Coat), when I discovered something; lace. Bags and bags and bags of lace, trimmings, and cording for 1.99 a bag. Not just plastic lace, which they also had, but NICE lace, and some things hidden in bags.
